I love the Indiana Jones movies and although Harrison Ford is getting pretty long in the tooth I've been looking forward to the new Indiana Jones movie due out in May of this year. If you haven't seen any of the previews yet, this might interest you.
My favorite one out of the franchise has most likely been the first Indiana Jones movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark. The first usually is the best and in this case it certainly holds true. Raiders had a lot of the same stuff that the cliff hangers and serials of the forties and fifties did, what made them exciting. The two that came after didn't contain quite as many of the elements and what they did use became tired. It's been two decades since the last one, maybe this will give the movies a renewed look.
We've known for awhile from rumors that it was coming and now you can rent movies from iTunes at $3.99 for new releases and $2.99 for library titles.
Kind of steep when you consider that I pay Netflix less than $20 a month to keep three movies out at a time. That's approximately 12-15 movies a month. At that rate I would have to pay Apple $59.85 to rent the same amount of movies.
I can see where it would be great on a trip and I am sure I will use it at least once or twice but I don't think I'll be changing my rental habits anytime soon.
This looks pretty cool. I have enjoyed the movies from Marvel the last few years and this looks pretty neat.
I guess the trailer has been out for a while but this was the first time I have come across it.
Remember Poltergeist from 1982? Not too bad for today's standards as far as special effects are concerned, but still pretty scary. The oldest girls and I have spent the evening watching it.
It's pretty funny because she was just asking about the movie last night. She wanted me to rent it from Netflix and I told her that with it being Halloween it was just about guaranteed that it would be on TV in the next week or so. Sure enough it came on at eight tonight and we have been watching it together.
I never did get to see the movie back in the eighties. Even with all of the hype and stuff I was too busy hanging out and partying to go see any movies aside from the stuff that was playing at the midnight movie, like the Rocky Horror Picture Show...
