Movabletype: September 2007 Archives
I have been playing around with Windows Live Writer and some of the plugins that you can download for it and I like it but unfortunately I cannot add this site or two of my other blogs. I have the same problem with my other offline program that I use, Zoundry, and think that there must be something wrong with my configuration in Movabletype but I just have no clue as to what it is. I like Windows Live Writer because it gives me the ability to open a new posting window while I am working in one already, which is something that Zoundry doesn't give you.
I will update more if I can find out what the problem is. Until then I suppose I will continue using the built-in MT editor to write my posts in. I am starting to get used to doing it that way anyhow.

I run two different instances of Movabletype on my server that is hosted by Livingdot. I just finished upgrading this instance to MT 4.01
MT 4.01 icorporates several bug fixes and is supposed to have some speed enhancements as well. Let's hope so as it's been pretty darned slow here lately.

I had almost forgotten that I had installed Captchas on the site. Has anyone else noticed any problems with them? One thing I did see is that if I am logged in the captcha doesn't show up (and it shouldn't for a registered user) but it got caught by the captcha and I had to log out and comment anonymously.
