Ajax Comments

One of the things I am trying to add to the site are Ajax Comments. This is a terrific plugin by Mark Carey and I used it briefly on my personal site but really had no need for it at the time but it will fit right in here. Basically it will allow you to post a comment without ever needing to leave the page itself.

I am still going to be using background publishing, which means that the comment itself will take five to ten minutes before it is actually posted. One I get Ajax Comments working the next step will be for me to try and enable it on my main page. That one is going to sit on the back burner though as it is going to take me learning a bit of javascript before I can get it working properly.

Updated at 11pm - Apparently the problem with getting Ajax Comments to work isn't the plugin that I thought it was. Tomorrow afternoon I will go through and disable most of them and add them in one by one to see which one is the culprit.

It's time to hit the sack so I will mess with it a bit more later.
